WHY ARE WE SUPPORTING THE JUST JANE CAMPAIGN?

As a small, family-run business, we are committed to supporting local causes and communities.

We have been producing hand-crafted cheese from Lymn Bank Farm in Lincolnshire since 2004 and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre’s “Just Jane” campaign is close to our hearts.

We created the Just Jane cheese range to support this fantastic cause.

WHAT IS THE JUST JANE CAMPAIGN?

The center is three years into a 10-year project to restore the Avro Lancaster “Just Jane” and return her to an airborne condition as a tribute to family member Christoper Whitton Panton who was shot down and killed during a bombing raid in Germany during the Second World War. 

Just Jane is the only running Lancaster that passengers can board in Europe. During the summer months, she is a popular guest when the former RAF airfield at East Kirkby hosts various events. Aviation enthusiasts can watch the Lancaster participate in ground displays and enjoy being taxied down the runway. The hope is that one day, spectators will see Just Jane fly across Lincolnshire skies once again, making her only the third flying Lancaster bomber in the world.

WHAT WE’RE DOING TO HELP

We believe that Just Jane deserves the chance to take to the sky once more in honour of the men and women of Bomber Command, which controlled the Royal Air Force from 1936 to 1968 and played a vital role in Britain’s war efforts in Germany.
